In recent years the subject of how people occupy public space has formed the basis of my artistic production. A flâneur is one who strolls urban space and observes modern life with an eye for architecture. I felt this word related to my process in general and this body of work specifically.

I have combined the look of classic black and white photography and a very modern technique
of layering several shots so that the passing of time and our brief presence in these places is felt. Every moment, our complex bustling, our comings and goings all dissipate into the air.

All images are available in two sizes, 24" x 36" for $800 unmounted, or 12.5" x 18.5" for $300 unmounted. Limited editions of 3.

Archival pigment prints.
